Die Zeitschrift richtete sich an das Fachpublikum in Politik, Medien, Entwicklungsorganisationen, Kirchen, Bildung, Wissenschaft und Kultur. Anfang 2008 ist „eins Entwicklungspolitik“ im neuen Titel „welt-sichten“ aufgegangen, der nicht nur auf Fachleute, sondern auch auf ein breiteres Publikum zielt.
